Repertoire

We have many different concert programmes, themed and tailored to suit individual events and occasions, but I have listed a few below that are often requested. In addition, I am always happy to compile new programmes, in order to really make an impression.

¨Tiaras & Tuxes"

A glittering gala evening of favourites, including sparkling selections from Carmen (The Toreador Song), La Traviata (Brindisi), Rigoletto (La Donna e Mobile), Faust (The Jewel Song), and lighter items by Flanders & Swan, Lerner & Loewe and Noel Coward.

¨The Italian Job"

Not the Michael Caine/Noel Coward version, but a sparkling selection of Neapolitan songs and Italian arias and ensembles such as the Love Duet from ‘Madam Butterfly’, Largo al Factotum from ‘The Barber of Seville’, Nessun Dorma from ‘Turandot’, ‘Funiculi Funicula’, ‘O Sole Mio’ and a selection from ‘The Gondoliers’.  No Minis were harmed in the making of this production!

¨Golden Greats from the Silver Screen"

Songs made famous by Deanna Durbin, Kathryn Grayson, Mario Lanza and Howard Keel in the famous Hollywood films and more recent movies.  Featuring ‘Be My Love’, the duet from Bizet’s ‘Pearl Fishers’, ‘And This Is My Beloved’ from Kismet, Ol’ Man River from ‘Showboat’ and Bess You Is My Woman from ‘Porgy & Bess’.

¨A Night in Vienna"

Let us transport you to Old Vienna, where timeless classics and beautiful melodies abound.  Our fully scripted show includes perennial operetta favourites from ‘The Merry Widow’ (Vilia, Chez Maxim, A Highly Respectable Wife), ‘DieFledermaus’ (The Laughing Song, Oh Dear oh Dear, and Brother Mine) and ‘Land of Smiles’ (You are my hearts delight, Love what has given you this Magic Power?)

¨ The American Collection"

Our tribute to Broadway, with songs from ‘Showboat’ (Can’t Help Lovin’ Dat Man), ‘South Pacific’ (Some Enchanted Evening, There Is Nothing Like a Dame, I’m Gonna Wash That Man Right Outta My Hair), ‘Annie Get Your Gun’ (Anything You Can Do), ‘Porgy & Bess’ (Summertime), and a wonderful selection from Bernstein’s ‘West Side Story’ (I Feel Pretty, One Hand One Heart, Maria, I Want To Be In America, Tonight).

¨With a Song in my Heart"

An unashamedly nostalgic programme of romantic songs including Ivor Novello’s ‘Glamorous Nights’ and ‘Perchance to Dream’, Cole Porter’s ‘Kiss Me Kate’, and a witty selection from Gilbert & Sullivan’s ‘The Mikado’.
